Post your Events CBI Comments On UK Economic Priorities
The CBI today commented on the issue of the public finances. Ian McCafferty, CBI Chief Economic Adviser, said:
“What we need are policies that prioritise credibility. The government must set out a clear, robust path that will return the budget to balance by 2015-16, and all the major political parties should commit to this aim. This is more important than a debate about the precise timing of spending cuts, which will depend on the strength of recovery.”
