AECOM’s Emma Clark to speak about CEEQUAL benefits during seminar hosted by ICE Scotland
GLASGOW – Emma Clark, AECOM senior sustainability consultant, will be speaking about the benefits of using CEEQUAL to assess the environmental and sustainability performance of civil engineering and public realm projects at a free seminar at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Scotland in Glasgow.
Clark has just completed the first assessment of a wind farm using the CEEQUAL assessment methodology.
“The CEEQUAL assessment tool provides a framework for those involved in the design, construction and operation of a project to integrate environmental, social and sustainability benefits and to gain acknowledgement for sustainability measures that are being incorporated into the project,” commented Clark.
She will talk about her experience of carrying out a CEEQUAL assessment at the Winwick Wind Farm in Northampton, UK, and outline its benefits for developers, designers and the construction industry overall.
CEEQUAL Chief Executive Roger Venables will also be presenting at the event. The seminar runs from 4pm until 7pm on July 19 and takes place at Scottish Engineering, 105 West George Street, Glasgow G2 1QL. It is free to attend, but places are limited and prior registration is essential.
