Persuasion public relations is celebrating after scooping a gold award at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards
Its eighth pride accolade since they were inaugurated in 2000, the company was awarded gold for the residents’ newsletter it produces for NomadE5 Housing Association, part of the Isos Group.
NomadE5@home is designed to highlight residents’ news as well as providing useful information such as rent advice, how to keep warm during the winter months and updates on modernisation and repairs programmes.
Wendy Gallagher, senior account executive with Persuasion pr, said: “We are thrilled to have won this prestigious award. This is testament to the hard work and creativity of a dedicated editorial panel - comprising NomadE5 residents and staff and Persuasion pr - which has made the newsletter the success it is today.”
Cora Cloughley, resident involvement team leader at NomadE5, added: “Our newsletter is the main communication tool to reach all our residents. We have been receiving excellent feedback from our residents and I am pleased that the award reflects this satisfaction.
“Having a resident editorial panel and also conducting regular satisfaction surveys has been the key to producing a newsletter that achieves the balance between essential information giving and enjoyable reading.”
The award winning @home format has now been adopted by the other Isos Group members, Milecastle Housing and Castle Morpeth Housing.
