Other Business He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and also the Institution of Engineering and Technology, as well as a member of both the British Computer Society and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Nigel has recently been appointed Technical Vice President of the Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is a member of the Regional Energy Council and a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for both Newcastle and Teesside Universities. He is also a Visiting Professor at Newcastle University. Nigel is also a non-executive Director of Renew Tees Valley.
